WKA Midland Open – Sunday 10th October
Congratulations to all the gang who fought on Sunday 10th October at the Midlands WKA Tournament. Great fights by Ryan and Daniel. Great fights from the girls Libby and Lisa. Bad luck to Oliver, Zac and Jack. Get them next time boys. Well one to Kyle Keeshan from Eclipse Kickboxing!
School Of Black Belts – March 2010
A big “Thank You” to Steve Legere, Martin Cope Jystin Billingham and Antonio Santorelli – without them and their fighters the tournament would have not been the best so far in the school’s tournament history. It showed a great return to Eclipse’s form with the return of Martin Cope’s team taking all the trophies in the junior section. Steve’s fighters showed great spirit and took their fair share of trophies as usual. This year also introduced “The Ring” and the continuous section with Blaze Martial Arts bringing their fighters up to compete against home boys Daniel Lowe and Ryan Davies. The fights created the best atmosphere of the day plus showed great control and technique.
Once a again a big thank you to all instructors, parents and students who supported the day and also the gang behind the scenes – Hayley, Charlotte, Claire, Lisa, Gaz, Daz, Ryan, Mick and Russ who made the tournament run so smoothly.
Steve Legere’s Tournament – 27th February 2010
A big thank you to all the fighters that represented the school on Saturday’s fight. It was the first fight of the season for most but some great fights from Lewis Worsey and Lewis Randle, a great performance from Jack Mcknight who came joint 3rd against fellow team mate Zac Smith, 2nd place for Daniel Lowe, 3rd for Ben Wooldridge, 2nd for Ryan Gough, 1st for Megan Upton, 2nd for Lauren Goodhand, 1st for Leah Goodhand, 3rd for Serkan and 1st for Ryan Davis .Unlucky to all the rest of the gang but better luck next.
